How a record comes to exist
A lending transaction happens on Ethereum. Creditcoin attests the block. The prover returns the encoded transaction and receipt with a Merkle inclusion proof and a continuity proof. Anyone calls record() on the contract; the native verifier precompile checks inclusion and continuity, and only then does the contract decode the receipt's logs, keep the ones emitted by the three pools, and update the borrower's record. No oracle. No indexer's word. No self-report.
The score is a pure function of that record: base 500, plus up to 200 for repayments, plus 50 for a clean history, minus 150 per liquidation decaying over a year. It is not a credit model. It is proof that one can be computed from proven inputs.
Why Compound v3 is not here
Compound's Comet emits Supply and Withdraw. Whether a withdraw is a borrow depends on the sign of the account's base balance at that moment, which is state. Attestcoin proves transaction inclusion, not state, so a Comet receipt alone cannot tell a loan from a withdrawal. Rather than guess, it is excluded.
